REGISTRATIONS BEGIN JANUARY 15th. Don't forget to sign up early for the EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT!
This summer, come explore the world of singing, dancing and acting!!
Everyone will get their chance to shine.
In just 2 weeks we will put on an entire show:
We build sets, create costumes, make props, learn great songs from the Broadway classics, and play wonderful characters. On the last day of camp there is a performance for family and friends.
Our summer camp location is at Palo Alto High School in the old historic HAYMARKET THEATRE! Our actors are thrilled...real lights, a huge stage, comfortable seats and lots more...!
WHO: Boys and Girls, 2nd - 8th Grade (CIT's for 8th graders and up)
*Students MUST be able to read and know their Left from their Right*

*Please Note: (In the One week Workshop we will be performing a musical review (NOT the summer musical so all summer campers are welcome).We'll work on: audition technique, vocal and dance training, drama games...Last day will be a'mini show' with costumes and all!) Director, Sarah Hope, graduate of New York University TISCH School of the Arts, is a well known musical theatre director in Palo Alto and New York City Schools. She was a recent performer in the world famous Beach Blanket Babylon.

(8th graders and up)

HMT offers a fun and exciting CIT (Counselors in Training) program to get teens ( 8th grade and up) involved in the theatre process. It is GREAT if they have theatre experience but NOT mandatory.
Become a theatrical leader! Please contact HMT if you are interested. We hope to have some of the same counselors as last summer!
The counselors will be VERY busy doing many things:
- leading drama games (and helping campers learn their lines)
- helping paint sets (and other fun art projects)
- daily snack set up/clean up and distribution,
- tech crew back stage for the shows
- and many many more activities.
We are looking for leaders! The more the CIT's take charge, the more responsibilities they will be given. It will be a blast for all!
TIME: 8:30am - 4:10pm
Fridays HMT provides lunch for the CIT's!
CIT's are welcome to sign up for as many sessions as they would like.
